Pasta Industrialists Association of Turkey was established in November 1993 with the name of Pasta Industrialists Association. It serves to the development of the sector with the 25 member pasta manufacturers.
Most of the pasta produced in the domestic market was being produced by the association members. Therefore in 1997, with the decision of the cabinet council, “Turkey” phrase has been added to the name of the association. This has been the first step taken to present the sector on the international platform. Our association, having the authorization to represent Turkey, is the founder member of International Pasta Organization (IPO) ) and honorary member of the Union of Organizations of Manufacturers of Pasta Products (UNAFPA).

Our Mission :
Our mission is to provide assistance to the pasta manufacturers regarding the professional, social, technical and economical issues. Also to make contribution to the consumption of pasta in terms of quality and quantity, to the presentation of pasta to the Turkish people more widely, to the achievement of the pasta production goal with power to compete in terms of quality, standards and costs by protecting the public health, to the generation of sufficient demand for the increasing pasta production in the domestic market and to the creation of exportation opportunities to the external market.

Our Goals :
• Our goal is to increase the annual pasta consumption to 8 kg per person by searching the ways to increase pasta consumption in terms of quality and quantity and by explaining the importance of pasta to the consumers regarding its nutritive content.
